Emmy Screening for Silicon Valley

After I posted this picture, one of my Instagram friends said “OK, now you’re just showing off!

Nick Krooooooollllllgoing places, silicon valley, emmy screening, celeb stalkerOK yeah, maybe a little.

I just had no idea what to expect when we started going to these screenings.  We were kind of thinking it sounded interesting.  Maybe we’d check out one or two.  But they keep getting better and better.

The screening for Silicon Valley was effing amazing!  We are huge fans of the show, but they didn’t even bother screening an episode.  They brought out Nick Kroll to moderate, showed some behind the scenes footage, and then got the cast out there without wasting any time.  And it was better than some comedy shows that we’ve paid to see.  These guys are hilarious.  Paul and I were cracking up through the whole thing.  Ah, so much fun.

Then of course the meet and greet, I made the rounds.  It can get a little pushy down there, but most of the cast are really nice to hang out and wait to meet people.  No matter how many times we do this, or how high (or low)  in the ranks the celebrity status is, I get a little overly excited.  AKA I’m a nervous wreck.  My hands shake for like 30 minutes after I’m done meeting everyone.  So goofy.  I just can’t be a cool person, dangit!

Next up: Modern Family.  Other screenings found here and here.
