Avocados

I really have no business writing about anything that goes on in a kitchen.  But at least you know if I spent time in there and made something, its going to be super easy.

I would like to dedicate this post to avocados.  Earth’s most perfect fruit.  They’re a fruit right? I love them so very much.  If you follow my Food Board on Pinterest, you might notice that I will pin pretty much anything with avocado in it.  So avocados, here’s to you.  Keep up the good work.

Here are a few of my favorite ways to eat them.

#4.  Straight out of the skin.  I just eat it with a spoon.  And maybe a little salt.

#3.  Broiled with cheese, lemon and hot sauce.  Only takes a few minutes.  Warm and creamy and cheesy.  Oh, and protein-y!

#2.  Guacamole.  Duh. I’m usually too lazy to make my own, but I love it fresh from Chevy’s or somewhere like that.  When I do make it, it’s usually because the avocados are just a little too mushy to eat them any other way.

#1. The avocado sandwich.  My ultimate favorite.  Simple and delish.  Wheat toast, mayo, & avocados topped with garlic salt.
