- Stevie’s Godfather has been staying with us the last week and he’s so great with Stevie in the mornings, I invited him to move in.
- Is there anything worse than DIY projects made with old denim? I mean look at these! Unless it’s distressing or cutting off, just let those jeans go. Nobody needs a hanging pencil organizer made from old jean pockets.
- I really do try to love cooking. This week I went as far as to blast my music, have a drink and dance around the kitchen while I stirred black beans – but I truly just can’t find joy in it. From deciding what to eat to grocery shopping to the mess it makes and how long it takes… erf. I don’t know how you guys do it.
- Since Stevie was a wee babeh, we have been getting all his clothes as hand-me-downs from my sister. Lucky ducks. But the 4T box has gone missing. I got a little excited and wasted no time building his summer wardrobe. Don’t bother looking for that box any more, sis.
- As much as I don’t want to be a cheapskate who gets sucked in by good deals after my shopping diet, I still am. This dress was $8 and this sweater was $4. What are ya gonna do? (Chunky thighs were free – courtesy of junk food.)
