5 More Friday Confessions

  1. My brain and I are never ever ever getting back together.  Like ever.  Remember those very expensive prescription sunnies I scratched?  Well I scratched them again.  And then I used a screen cleaner on them, which wiped the Ray-Ban logo right off.  Then I left them in a dressing room and didn’t realize it until 6 hours later.  They are 2 months old.  I seriously can’t have nice things.
  2. Here’s a scenario I will never understand: At the playground, we parents are all sitting near each other watching the same thing – your kid teasing my kid. So why do I always have to be the one stepping in? Whether I ask the parent to address the situation or talk to the kids myself, t’s annoying and tiring.  I can not be everyone’s mommy.  Honestly.
  3. We finally got Stevie’s Medi-Cal cards and then got a huge packet for re-eligibility, even though we’ve only had the insurance for a couple months.  When I try to call with questions, we just go around and around.  My brain nearly fell out my head today.  Right onto the floor.
  4. Stevie cuteness of the week – he wants to wear my giant Beats headphones and listen to Uptown Funk in just a diaper and tee. He also started saying he wants things “NOW” which is hilarious.  For the time being.
  5. I had a few last-minute additions to my spring capsule.  They were totally stress-shopping related. Oops.
