End of Summer Taking Stock

Making: big plans in my head.
Deciding: where to begin with said plans.
Cooking: sandwiches?
Drinking: so much green tea, I have to pee like allll the time.
Listening: to more Podcasts.
Wanting: to revamp the ol’ blog.
Looking: at a pretty messy house.
Playing: Boggle on my phone.
Wishing: I slept more.
Enjoying: girl time, in any way, shape, or form.
Waiting: just a little longer to share some of my new life goals.
Liking: Stevie’s swim lessons.  He cries, but it seems more like a show, rather than actual fear.
Wondering: if I could live without social media for awhile.
Loving: lazy morning Stevie.  It’s a new thing and it only lasts about 10 minutes, but it’s kind of my favorite.
Pondering: stress eating.  And stress shopping.  Why do I do it?
Considering: what sparks joy!
Buying: Target.  Everything there.
Watching: Gilmore Girls.  Almost done with the series.
Hoping: I can accomplish a lot in the next month.
Marveling: at Stevie’s growth over the summer.
Cringing: at the fact that essential oils haven’t really worked for Stevie.
Needing: more morning dates with the husband.  Those are fun.
Questioning: my abilities to do it all.  Whatever “all” is supposed to be.
Smelling: coffee.  I haven’t had any in almost 3 months, but it’s about to make a comeback.
Wearing: whatever keeps me cool.
Following: Andrea at Seasons and Salt
Noticing: I don’t really miss Diet Coke… that much.
Knowing: I’ll never have a beach body.
Thinking: it’s a great day for an adventure.
Admiring: Stevie’s teachers.  They all love him so much.
Sorting: clothes again.  This seems never ending!
Getting: pumped for more Disney photo sessions coming up.
Bookmarking: my daydreams.
Coveting: grown up, cohesive style.
Disliking: how unorganized I’ve become.
Opening: too many tabs at once.
Giggling: at little baby lamb videos on YouTube.  Ridiculous!!
Feeling: MOTIVATED.  For the moment.
Snacking: on hard boiled eggs.
Missing: summer freedom.
Hearing: old songs in my music library.

  1. Sounds like you read “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up”! I’m about to start sorting clothes and considering what sparks joy as well.
