Snap It Up Style

Yesterday was great and awful, as so many days are. I had a few moments of quiet. Almost ruined my new Everlane poplin tee with the iron before I even had a chance to wear it. Thank goodness I was able to save my mistake.

I finally kneeled down to his level, grabbed him by his arms, and hissed at him to stop the insanity because I couldn’t take it anymore. I told him he was ruining his graduation day and fake cried a little bit to really get his attention.

Then we plastered smiles on our faces and it was off to his preschool graduation!

Stevie was so stinking cute and I absolutely had that proud parenting moment that I always imagined. Almost the exact opposite of how I was feeling just a short time earlier. Such an emotional roller coaster, I swear!

Then for dinner with friends, I flipped my hair the other way and upgraded the look by just adding a jacket. Easy outfit for double triple duty.

  1. If I had a dime for every time I hissed at my children 🙁 Motherhood IS a rollercoaster. However feeling a little bit pulled together by being dressed goes a long way towards soothing my nerves! Love what you have going on here!
