After 5 days of fever, it has finally broken!!!  The illness turned out to be a nasty ear infection, so Stevie is on his first (and hopefully only) round of antibiotics now.  His cough still sounds terrible and sleep has been a complete joke. It’s rare to see this kid so miserable that he won’t move from the couch.  In fact, I think this is a first.  And after being Stevie’s #1 cuddle buddy, Paul is coming down with something too.  So we are looking forward to less of this:

Hope everyone has a nice Veteran’s Day.  We will try to go across the street to McCambridge Park where they do a Veteran Memorial every year, complete with very loud jets flying overhead.
